Slayin DX is a brand new upgraded version of the original game which includes a newly hand drawn upscaled version of the game. The new version was high fidelity enough to warrant a new direction for the sound, but not high fidelity enough to use real instruments in the way Slayin 2 did. Where Slayin DX lands is someone close to the Sega Megadrive, though it has quite a few more bells and whistles to it. Fans of FM synthesis and the Megadrive will definitely feel right at home though. In addition, the entire original soundtrack is also include, which is strictly and 8bit NES soundtrack. The NES and the Megadrive are tag teaming like Hulk Hogan and The Macho Man on this one!
